How we helped the Legacy School gain 50+ students for their founding class

Before ScholarLead

The Legacy School, a new high school in Cleveland, Ohio, opened in August 2023, prioritizing college preparedness for underrepresented communities.  To ensure its opening, the school needed to enroll 25 students. Scholarlead collaborated with The Legacy School aiming to establish a strong founding student base and community presence.

After partnering with ScholarLead

Leading up to their inaugural day, ScholarLead utilized SMS texting and Facebook advertising to engage parents in Cleveland, introducing them to The Legacy School and its mission. As a new school, building brand awareness was crucial for success.

During the campaign, ScholarLead played a pivotal role in enrolling over 50 students in The Legacy School's founding class. Our partnership led to:

  • Connecting Legacy with 94 interested parents.

  • Gaining 65 parent leads from nearby districts and neighborhoods through SMS texting. 

  • The Facebook campaign generated 29 additional leads.


Overall, the campaign reached over 14,000 parents, cultivating more than 52,000 impressions for The Legacy School and firmly establishing its presence within the community.
