How ScholarLead helped enroll 80 new students in 5 Months:
The ScholarLead Blueprint Behind Honor Prep’s Full Enrollment.
In February 2025, Honor Prep approached ScholarLead to pull off the ambitious goal: help them open a free, bilingual charter school in Charlotte by August. The reality was that they were coming to us with only four students enrolled and a hard minimum of 80 seats required to launch.
We understood that Honor Prep’s vision was bold: to lift academic achievement, build bilingual mastery, and forge tomorrow’s leaders who will improve their world. Yet, with the first day of school just months away, that vision teetered on our ability to deliver results that would allow them to serve families and students in Charlotte.
The truth was: if the school didn’t hit a minimum of 80 students, Honor Prep would not open this fall.​

The ScholarLead Way
Our campaign helped Honor Prep not only meet their enrollment goal on time but surpass it, securing 102 enrollments in six months. We accomplished this using the following tactics:
Outreach
Hyper-Targeted Digital Campaigns

Zip-code and language filters zeroed in on the right Charlotte families, in their preferred language, lowering the cost-per-enrolled-student by over 60 %.
Creative Facebook and Instagram Advertising

Targeted Facebook and Instagram advertisements, which showcased key features and opportunities offered at Honor Prep, helped us reach potential parents and convert their interest into enrollments with a few clicks.
Follow-ups
Email and Text Automations
Because leads come in at all hours of the day the ScholarLead supports schools, including Honor Prep, with automated outreach to provide more information instantly.

Text messages are built to continue the conversation, in the contact's preferred language, asking the parent what they are looking for in their student's school. Putting the parents' needs first and helping the school have a starting point when calling interested families.

Blast Texting
​​In addition to text automation, families received two or more messages each week to learn about the school, schedule tours, and submit enrollment documents. Parent engagement increased significantly; we sent 87 unique text campaigns and received 631 responses.

This strategy included grouping leads into pre-application and post-application stages to customize messages.
