I serve as the CEO & Co-founder of ScholarLead.com. Throughout my life, I have always aimed higher, choosing to elevate the status quo. In working with schools around the country to boost their enrollment, I realized that many schools used outdated methods, such as pen and paper methods, to manage their enrollment process.​ Following this realization, Nick Brown and I went on to co-found ScholarLead.com in 2022, a new parent-relationship management web app that helps schools simplify their enrollment management.

My passion for education started as a teacher with Teach For America in Mississippi. One summer I taught at a public charter. Students excelled there. I want all students to attend a great school.

I’m an alumnus of TFA, Fulbright, USC (B.A.), and the University of Colorado (MBA). Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and baby boy Levi. I also enjoy volunteering at my church, skiing, and golfing.

Ashtyn Austin is ScholarLead’s Account Manager. Ashtyn previously served as ScholarLead's Creative Project Manager, Marketing Communication Specialist, and a Digital Media intern.

Ashtyn graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with two degrees, focusing on Media Studies and Strategic Communication with an emphasis on Public Relations. In her free time, she loves spending time with friends and listening to music.

At ScholarLead, Sam partners closely with school teams to support thoughtful, data-informed outreach.
 

Sam brings over a decade of experience in education, supporting charter schools across the country as both a teacher and consultant. She is passionate about helping schools connect with families and build strong, sustainable enrollment.

At ScholarLead, Dre partners closely with school teams to support thoughtful, data-informed outreach and family engagement efforts.

Dre brings experience across education and nonprofit work, with a passion for expanding access to opportunities and resources that help students succeed in higher education and beyond. He earned his B.A. in Sociology from Colorado State University.

Carolyn Mason is ScholarLead’s Enrollment Marketing Coordinator. Carolyn previously worked in charter schools as an Art Educator. 

Carolyn graduated from the University of Georgia with a BFA in K-12 Visual Art Education. She also has a certification in UX/UI Design. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors, whether that be skiing, camping, or going to the park.
